THE SCENT OF A WOMAN, That makes it special and unique.<\/p>\n

When we were dating my husband gave me my first bottle of perfume.\u00a0 It was called \u201cFemme<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0 I was never interested in fragrances before that time but now I was being given this romantic gift that was so personal. No other boyfriend had given me an extravagant gift such as this. I was impressed!<\/p>\n

The fragrance was a little strong but lovely. \u00a0When I dabbed it on, it was done very gingerly as I didn\u2019t want this scent to take over a room.\u00a0 I have been in elevators where a woman\u2019s perfume permeated every corner of the cabin.\u00a0 The elevator door could never open fast enough for me and I felt like I was wearing that woman\u2019s perfume for hours afterwards.<\/p>\n

\u201cFemme\u201d was my perfume because of sentimental reasons but it wasn\u2019t the one I ultimately settled on. Since that gift I have tried other perfumes but I never found one that I felt suited me. Perfume is very personal.\u00a0 It defines the wearer.<\/p>\n

Walking into a department store one day I passed a counter with little sample bottles of a fragrance called \u201cY<\/a>\u201d by Yves St. Laurent. \u00a0It drew me in.\u00a0 After a few minutes at the counter I purchased it.\u00a0 It was exactly what I wanted to wear any time of day, any season.\u00a0 It became my signature scent and I have been wearing it ever since. \u00a0But lo and behold \u201cY\u201d is no longer being sold in stores.\u00a0 I have looked everywhere including Duty Free shops<\/a>.\u00a0 It is out of production.<\/p>\n

But not all is lost.\u00a0 Recently I was introduced to another fragrance which I find equally appealing.\u00a0 It happens to be one that has recently been introduced by my client. I make it a practice not to mix business with personal recommendations but this fragrance is special. It\u2019s light, floral and very feminine.\u00a0 It\u2019s called \u201cBroderie<\/a>\u201d and it\u2019s by a French couturier named Hayari<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The other reason why I love this perfume is that it is exclusive.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t available at every department store or beauty or drug store.\u00a0 It has limited distribution.\u00a0 That makes it special and unique.\u00a0 I like that.<\/p>\n

I have already been stopped on the street and asked the name of this perfume by several women and a few men.\u00a0 That leads me to believe this exclusivity will not last forever because it won\u2019t be long before this perfume will be scooped up by retailers that sell fashion, beauty and fragrances.\u00a0 That\u2019s when I will have to start my search all over again.<\/p>\n
